About Serpentine
Serpentine’s name comes from the Latin word serpens, which means ’’snake’’. This name was attributed to it because of its green blotchy appearance, which reminds of a snake. As early as ancient Mesopotamia, women wore around their necks because they believed that it strengthens the mammary glands. They wore it as a protection stone against spells and poisonous animals.
